Our Mission

​

The Highway Patrol Investigations Unit strive to provide the utmost professional investigative services to the citizens of San Andreas. Our detectives are qualified to perform a daily duty of  responding to a wide variety of scenes throughout the state that requires an investigation to be conducted. This including but not limited to Motor Vehicle Accidents, Homicides, Kidnappings and Robberies.

 

We focus on creating an environment that although being very organized and strict, we’re very open and passionate about the work we do. Our team is full of enthusiastic troopers that are willing to put all of their effort into making this unit the best of the best.

 

We assure that all investigations conducted by HPIU hold the highest quality and we are able to work closely with all other services of the Sheriff’s Office and LSPD to ensure that all cases get the proper follow up and to ensure the case is solved.

Joining Procedures

 

We are almost constantly looking for new intrigued and passionate members of Highway Patrol to join our unit. We want everybody who thinks they have what it takes to become a detective to take some time and write an application which you can find in info channel. Then you will move on to the recruitment process.

 

Step 1: Submit an application, if accepted you will be contacted by a Supervisor

Step 2: Attend and complete basic in-class training led by your Supervisor.

Step 3: Congratulations! You’re now a Probationary Detective within the HPIU.
