What each rank is responsible for
Chief- Oversees every officer in the department and has the final say in any decisions in the department such as promotions, demotions and removals.
Assistant Chief- Assists the Chief in any and all daily business within the department. They are in charge when the Chief of police is gone
Deputy Chief- Reports to the Assistant Chief and notifies them of any issues within the department
Commander- Reports to the Deputy Chief and is a active watch commander during patrols and is the highest ranking supervisor when the Chiefs are not there.
Captain- Reports to the Commander and is in charge of roughly 30 men during patrols and is a senior supervisor.
Lieutenant- Reports to the Captain, handles any and all complaints against officers whether that is other officers or civilian complaints.
Sergeant- Reports to a Lieutenant and handles any and all basic supervisor calls.
Corporal- Handles day to day patrol and is a basic supervisor
Senior Police Officer II- Handles any supervisor call when they is no available supervisor. You get granted this rank when you show enough skill to warrant senior police officer I and you deserve to be in a semi important position of power
Senior Police Officer I- The first senior officer position you can get, you must show initiative to get into this rank and must show at least some leadership potential.
Police Officer I through III- Handles all basic calls and does routine patrol.
Cadet- First rank given and will go through the academ
